Is it fine to change jobs after receiving green card? There are people that think one should stay with the company that sponsored the green card for at least 6 months after receiving the document. Is there a rule about this 6 months period or is it just a safe thing to do just in case? Will...

Thanks IND77 and Madgu-gc2005! IND77, It is for 485, and is not a transfer. Did 1st FP in June of 2005 and 2nd FP on May 5th of 2007.

Received the "Card production ordered" emails on 6/7 and 6/10, and "approval notice sent" emails today. Does this mean my GC is approved? If so, I have received these emails only for me and my daughter, but not for my spouse. Is this normal? Please suggest! ------------- LC: RIR (PD 1/2002)...

I just called TSC center. The response I got from representative was, "this case is still pending. There is a glitch in our system, which is making it send this message. Please ignore the message.".

The msg doesn't mean "the case is approved". I don't think it means they have sent a RFE either. I think it is about the returned FP notice they have sent to the lawyer. They might have sent it to the lawyer's old address by mistake and later corrected it by sending it to the new address.
