Frodo and all,
Finally my case and wife's case were both approved on Mar 8. Good luck to all of you - I'm sure that your days will come soon.
Best regards,
Electrospray
My lawyer inquired with NSC on my behalf on 1/21 and online message changed to "we responded to your request for more information on my case" on 1/24. But the response I got was really nothing new: "Due to the pending caseload at the Nebraska Service Center, the processing time of your...
Frodo,
I got a phone call from my Congresswoman's office today, and it appeared that USCIS issued the fingerprinting notice in response to the inquiry by her office a while ago. But all she told me was that the case is now "back on track" and "could be" assigned to an officer. So here comes...
Just had our 3rd FPs taken
But online message never changed. It appeared that the FP notices were generated automatically. Did your LUD change after you took your 3rd FP, Frodo?
I sent the fax to 202-324-3367. However if I remember it correctly, recently there was a thread here that claimed FBI no longer accepts fax inquiries, but instead prefers e-mail or phone. Please do a search of the forums and see for yourself.
I contacted FBI in early September by fax and got a reply in Mid-Oct. They informed me that the name check process was completed and results forwarded to USCIS in Jan 03 for my wife and Oct 04 for myself.
It did appear to me that my name check process was hanging there at FBI until I made...
Go to http://www.house.gov/ and enter your zip code - it will direct you to the website of your congressman or woman. Hopefully on their websites they post instructions for you to submit requests. Good luck to you.
Hi Frodo,
Yes she did win - in a landslide actually - and I have sent out my letter. Hopefully we will hear from her office soon.
npnjan02,
Sorry to hear about your situation. Did you talk to your lawyer and see whether they kept copies of your I-140 and I-485 applications?
Thank you both, GRCA-2002 and Frodo, for your replies. I will write the letter and send it out first thing in the morning on Nov 3 - just making sure that my congresswoman acutally wins the re-election first ;-)
GRCA-2002,
I decided to contact me congresswoman. Do you think that I should tell her office about all my details including name check cleared and FP2 expired, or just let them make the initial inquiry and then follow up once they get an initial answer/excuse from CIS?
Thanks again and...
GRCA-2002,
Thanks for your suggestions. I'm just afraid CIS will give the same crap my lawyer said to my congresswoman. Plus, my 2nd FP already expired - we did it on 7/12/03.
BTW, my lawyer just filed our 4th EAD and AP applications (they are probably making a fortune just filing these...
