Hi Pdman, Man...what a coincidence....we meet again. Yes, I wrote to congressman(actually went in person) and also went to senator. Then after 2-3 months my NC got cleared. You should try it definitely.

The USCIS website has been very inconsistent with irregular updates and no email updates. Please post details on when you get physical receipts of approval notice and green card by postal mail. I received Approval notice by mail on 11/3. Still waiting for gc.

CA. They requested info from FBI some 3 months back since my NC was pending for 1+ years. Then i got response in Oct from congressman by mail, that my case was processed by FBI and sent to USCIS.

I am a 2006 filer as well. My NC got cleared early this month, based on intervention from congressman/senator. My case was approved recently. Actually, most 2006 filers were approved in 2006 itself, since not many were allowed to file then. The ones pending are all those stuck in NC, hence...
