Be careful...The doc did not give me MMR as my wife was pregnant. So I guess it DOES AFFECT even if YOU take vaccination. Consult good doc. You should not take any risk.

First thing... there is no contact number for Local INS at Newark.
Second...Even if you go there personally, it wont help much. They will just tell you to wait till you get interview notice.
Third...you will get your notice in 2-3 weeks time.
So relax and start preparing your...

you would get interview call within 2-3 weeks and interview will be 3 weeks after that. Newark has been fastest in sending out interview so far. Also, interview at Newark is cool, just kind of formality.

Who will process card for local transfer ? I had interview on 6/9 at Newark and PP was stamped on the same day. Will Newark INS send back all info to Vermont ? OR Newark INS will process my card ? Any idea anybody ?

I never called the local INS. I received my interview notice (lawyer gets a copy too) 2 weeks after the transfer (Newark is fastest in sending out interview notices). I have interview at Newark tomorrow i.e. 9th June, Will let you know about my experience tomorrow. Infact there are 5...

You will get transfer notice from vermont (VSC). For me it took around 7-8 days after transfer (checked thru AVM) to get the notice. And you will get interview notice from local INS. No idea about how long is the wait at Hartford. All the best.

Did you try calling them again ? OR did you go to INS after you interview ?
I would suggest to contact local congressman for your case. That would be the fastest way out.

Usually local transfers cause more delays. And it may be close to approval but depends on what your transfer notice says. If it says that preliminary processing is over... then it might be close to approval. And wait time for each local INS varies a lot. e.g. Newark takes only 3-4...
