    Canadian PR and US GC

You will never be asked to choose one over the other unless 1. Considering you do not have a Cdn cit spouse and have stayed away from Canada for more than 2 yrs - you MAY be at the mercy of the CIC when you try to enter - irrespective of whether you have US GC or not. But for sure you'll...

Can We settle on These Bases?

Thank You Mr. Khanna for whatever you are doing for the community. I have a little suggestion to make regarding Item#4, which nevertheless seems to be the only panacea for this ailment. The recently concluded fiasco a.k.a. ‘NSEERS’ had a provision that excepted the ‘parolees’ from...

    Education Of Children

Kashmir ji I am also walking the same lane as you are. Initiall, in the Fall of 2003, my daughter was given an 'International' status by the U- although being in EB-AOS legally, a decision against which I appealed to the University Board of Regents for redressal. Although they...

We travelled to Toronto a couple of weeks back through the Sarnia POE. I-94 was nevere looked at by the CIC! While returning ofcourse if you do not have a current parole stamp already then you need to go for secondary inspection with the APs and will be given a new I-94 (happened for me)...

Processing Analysis and Trends From Rupnet

Ghee On an update from my corp. lawyer about what was going on in Nebraska he replied " Right now, we are seeing BCIS approve cases filed in the November 2001 to January 2002 range. Yes, there are some older cases that are not yet approved, and some newer cases that are approved, but...

Processing Analysis and Trends From Rupnet

Paul, U are absolutely right on your conclusions about LIN, as it is now. If they indeed start sending out FP notices on a regular basis, it will be a moment of truth about virtually abandoning the EB 485 process. My take on this is, given their antipathy towards refinancing a procedure...

Processing Analysis and Trends From Rupnet

Besides, Rupnet also indicates that many of the Jan02-Jul02 filers' FP have a date that's set to expire by the end of this year, given the fact that prints have a shelf life of 15-16 months. Even in these troubling times, it seems BCIS still acts upon cases (RFE) within this time frame...

    Yes!!! There is a GOD!!

These script "Approvals", my guess is for the "Religious" category. If I am not wrong, the AOS process for this group supposedly dies on 09/30. And so this flurry of activity.

Any one entered USA on Advance Payrole???

Entered using AP What happens if the validilty of AP is a single more day when you enter. Are you given a I94 valid for a day ? I am to travel and return just a day before expiry of the 1st AP. < Not willing to give them command over my life anymore ! >

    Called IIO...

We should forget about RD/NDs now. By the present trend, it's better to make a FP plus 15th month guess - Time line for a RFE to pop up. It will be interesting to see what happens in June. Since considerable Dec/Jan/Feb filers have FP done in March.
