  • I hope someone out there can help me. I have been married for 1.5 yrs, filed for my adjustment of status. We anxiously waited for our interview, but in August we received denial letters because we didn't go to a February 2009 interview! We never received this notice! Now it's a removal proceeding for me, I went to court this month and asked to re-file form I-130. The main problem is that my husband and I are having personal problems. He recently lost his job too, and I can't work (my work permit is suspended). We are thinking about divorcing because I don't think I can/should be in the relationship. However, I need a visa to be here. My boss was interested in sponsoring me. So, can one apply and get H1B visa once green card has been denied and you are in removal? Can we tell USCIS/court that we no longer want this application to continue? I will really appreciate your advice, please tell me anything you know/think.
