I am a US Permanent resident thry asylum , finished citizenship interview but didn't received the oath ceremony date yet, want to travel native country for getting married. DO i have a fear from immigration officer for deportation ? I have sent a letter to immigration office to arrange a oath ceremony date for june 22, 2011 because i have a ticket for JUly 2, 2011. Bottomline, i dont have a time to wait for citizenship because i am getting married on 7th july and i have already purchased the air ticket. so i am tryingti use green card and native country passport to travel.
