in Boston, they asked for appointments for each individual. However they did accept the applications with a warning - next time individual without appointment will have to stand in a different queue. ?!?!
yes... same thing happened with me.. our case was approved and we got our passports stamped in Nov. Till now the website used to show - case pending..... yesterday these guys woke up and realised and updated the website with - your case has been approved on december 16th 2004 ! Better late than...
i believe they do accept individuals without infopass, but then you might want to go early in the day. there are separate lines for with and without infopass. Right as you enter the JFK bldg, there are boards which advises you to take appointments using infopass. donno why ?! i guess no harm in...
oh my Gosh.... i had to go thru the same horrible thing. I had an appointment today at 12:20 PM, but the wait time was 3 hours 30 minutes. had i known about it, i would gone out and had a nice lunch returned back.

Yes... i had that problem... but then i realised that if i check the status from office (behind a proxy/firewall), it says status not found. if i check from home without the proxy, it displayed the status.

nothing really happened in the last mile. nothing really happened in the last 2 years, and then i got the FP notice on 10/21/04 (scheduled date was 11/19, but did it on 10/22). Saw the FP received message online on 10/27. On 11/11 there was a LUD change but the status...
Finally got my approval today by regular mail. It got approved on Nov 10th 2004. The online message is still the old one - "FP received...."
