yes... same thing happened with me.. our case was approved and we got our passports stamped in Nov. Till now the website used to show - case pending..... yesterday these guys woke up and realised and updated the website with - your case has been approved on december 16th 2004 ! Better late than...

i believe they do accept individuals without infopass, but then you might want to go early in the day. there are separate lines for with and without infopass. Right as you enter the JFK bldg, there are boards which advises you to take appointments using infopass. donno why ?! i guess no harm in...

oh my Gosh.... i had to go thru the same horrible thing. I had an appointment today at 12:20 PM, but the wait time was 3 hours 30 minutes. had i known about it, i would gone out and had a nice lunch returned back. Fortunately the officials were good and understanding.

Yes... i had that problem... but then i realised that if i check the status from office (behind a proxy/firewall), it says status not found. if i check from home without the proxy, it displayed the status.

your lawyer will get the original approval notice. However you will also get a copy of the approval !!!

got approvals on regular mail. Online status hasnt reflected the approved status yet (no wonder)...

Finally got my approval today by regular mail. It got approved on Nov 10th 2004. The online message is still the old one - "FP received...." Thanks everyone for the moral support and useful info.. Many Many thanks to Rajiv for putting up this marvellous website !
