ok, today I got my wife's card sitting in the mailbox. May all applicants as lucky as we are.

yes we are surprised too. But we will only be happy and relieved after we get the real card. WIll keep you posted.

Just to let you know that after 6 months' waiting (after mine was approved), my wife's 485 was approved few days ago. Mine was approved on 10/16 and I got the card on 10/19. Hers kept pending and the reason was (of course) security check. Her case's previous last update date was 10/01/06...

LUD for my 485 09/08/05 --> this was after finger print 09/18/06 --> this was after 2nd EAD 10/01/06 --> (I guess) this was after they started processing my case 10/16/06 --> approved. LUD for my wife's 485 09/08/05 --> finger print 10/01/06 --> (I guess) they started my wife's case?

Not sure. I never called and asked about that. But I assume her name check should be easier than mine.....
