  • I am a registered pharmacist working for a retail chain. My contract with company is ending in 3months but my H1-B is valid until 2011.
However I don’t want to work anyone. I want to start my own independent pharmacy. Since I am on H1-B I cannot do so.
I have a friend in Florida, he is running 2 independent profitable pharmacies under a corporate, has good tax records and has sponsored H1-B pharmacist working in one of his pharmacies.
He can help me with starting a pharmacy in partnership. Wherein I can show he is the employer and I am his employee. My question is:
    1) He owns his pharmacies in Florida can he still open a pharmacy in Arizona under the same corporation? And can he still sponsor my H1-B? What are the chances of H1-B approval?
    2) Can any individual who is on a green card / EAD open a new pharmacy and sponsor H1-B for the post of a Pharmacist having no background of business of pharmacy and no tax records? What are the chances of getting H1-B approval?
