    Yes you are right, it was NIH. I found its always the institute who sponsored your J-1 visa intially.

    Which category for J-1 waiver is quicker and straight forward: 1. No Objection Statement (NOS) OR 2.Request by an interested government agency (IGA)? Does anybody know a bit detail of IGA procedure for bioscience researchers at universities? :confused:
