    Yes you have that option I did apply for the passport on the day I took the oath here in CA. However you do it later too.

    One more thing Before everything you will be asked to take an Oath, under which you agree to tell the TRUTH. Then they will ask you some YES/NO Questions. (Like did you miss filing tax any year, were you out of status) that kinda stuff.

    List of Documents I took my Passports (2, Old, new), Greencard, Driver License and the Appt letter. These were listed in the Appointment letter, and I did not have any problems.
