This year I called the Burmese Embassy regarding about making a passport legally, they can renew the passport if you came here with Burmese passport to US no matter you have expire or lost. But it is pain in the *** contacting those creepy guys. They confirmed that they can't make passport for Burmese who didn't use passport to come over to here.

Yes, i know some friends at there, as far as I think, their process take about 5 days though. Let me know if you need help, I will ask my friends to share their process with you.
