    Continuing residency question

Thanks for the replies. One thing to strenthen my case is I had a spouse living in the US the whole time I was abroad and we owned a property. I guess I have nothing to lose if I apply now except for the application fee and some time. If I choose to wait, is it better to wait until 2012 (4+1...

    Continuing residency question

Hi all, I'm trying to decide whether I should file for naturalization soon or wait for another year or so. My situation is that I got my GC in April 2004 and stayed in the US until April 2006. I went back to China and worked for a local company for two years due to family reasons. My wife stayed...

    reentry permit

Hi all, Do you know what kind of reasons people put on their REP applications? Is temporary working abroad a valid one? I have a contract job of 1-2 years in China starting next year and I don't want to lie to CIS by saying I'm just going to visit my home country. Any thoughts? BJ

Am I safe to keep my GC?

It doesn't really matter I think. I chose "need to talk to an IIO" and on the appointment page it says "information question".

PP stamping done this morning in Dallas

Hi all, We got our passports stamped earlier today. This InfoPass thing works pretty well. Our appointment time was 8:00 am and we got there around 7:45 am. Waited a few minutes outside to get a number, then waited another hour or so inside. The stamping process itself was straitforward and...
