Hi Rajiv,

Thanks for providing a foroum for all of the immigrants.

Here my situation:

I have applied for H1B Visa extension at 12-Mar-2009 and my application has gone for Request for further evidence on 18 th of Apr-09. I am applyting visa extension for extension from 4th year till 6th year. And my current visa expiry date is on 16th Jun-2009.

Here are some questions i need your suggestion:

1- In case H1B extension get rejected, can i apply for Green card?
If yes , when should i apply?
2- Can i apply for GC and stay and work in USA in case H1B extension is rejected.
3- Any other way so that i can continue to work here if H1B rejection happens?
