    I-751 February 2008 Filers

We filed late Jan08, transfered from TSC to VSC early Feb08. we've been approved on 12/31/08. I've heard a few Feb'08 cases have been approved since Dec 23 08 already. So VSC is already working on cases filed in Jan/Feb08, finally! Good luck!!

    I-751 Timeline List

thank serrabel and trinity. Your words are reassuring. I'll have a meeting next month and will be asked to submit papers. I'll approach the case as you mention. I have a state DL valid till 2013 and an unrestricted SScard which are enough evidence for I-9www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-9.pdf, but...

    I-751 Timeline List

try to sign a contract for a job for a 3 years period with an extension letter expiring in 4 months, and also stating "Approval Pending"; try to convince your future employer that USCIS will stamp another 1 year extension -no question asked!! ... then let me know about the outcome

    I-751 Timeline List

I am still in shock to see how fast CSC is going: 3-4months processing time! and VSC: 12-13 months processing time, and this one getting longer and longer every week. It was of about 9 months in Sept, 10 months in Oct, now they're taking 12-13 months! it s obvious they have a huge backlog with...

    I-751 - missing item

you are not supposed to send passport pictures with your i-751 application, as far as I know. That's a requirement for those applying from US territories/milit bases or somewhere like that. Read I-751 instructions carefully on the uscis.gov website. It's clearly stated therein.

    I-751 Timeline List

Thanks vega for keeping this list. It looks like VSC is taking 11 months to approve I-751. This is so frustrating!

I-751 Vermont Center ( how Long does it Take)

It's unfair, indeed. VSC is taking 13 months to process I-751 cases, while CSC is taking only about 3-4 months. I don't know why. I guess VSC has fewer employees assigned to process I-751s than CSC. This is the only reasonable explanation

    I-751 December filers

Ray, the leases and taxes from the last 3 years are essential. That's good. You should also include copies of your and your spouse's Driver's Licenses showing common address. Also, you should include copies of joint checking and saving bank statements and utility bills for the last 2-3 years...

I-751 few concerns before mailing the app

make it USPS Priority Mail, Certified, so that you can have a tracking number. That's good enough

    I-751 December filers

FYI: I also noticed a LUD on Dec. 2007 for my I-130 which was approved back in 2005. I noticed such LUD change when I logged in to see my portfolio getting ready to include my I-751 case (which I couldn't since I have not received the bio appt letter yet)

    I-751 February 2008 Filers

Good for you, MasterArcht! you've got your biometrics appt already! I've also been transfered to VSC; check cashed a few days before yours. But, since my DO is Miami, FL, I guess I'll have to wait a little longer. Anyhow, I'm already getting a little nervous fearing that the bio appt letter...

Can I leave the country after I file I-751?

You can send your package within a 90 days window period before the GC expires, which in your case would be starting around Dec 26th and ending on March 25th. Never send it before the window period opens. Your package can be rejected and sent back to you. Also, note that this 90 days-period is...

Praetorian is right. No other form is required for such applications

    I-751 January Fillers

chawls, for the first Notice of Action, give it 4 weeks. It usually takes 2 weeks from the date you send your application. So, you should be receiving it this week. If I were you, I'd call USCIS 30 days after your package was sent or received and/or definetely 30 days after the date your check...
