Another I-485 thank you for your reply. I field another I-485 on December 2004, and unfortunately that one was denied as well on the basis that when I field I was not maintaining lawful nonimmigrant status.

On August 2002 my visa was changed from J-1 to H-1B valid until September 2005, on march 2003 I filed I140 and I-485. I departed USA on May 2003, and while I had applied for Advance Parole but at the time of my departure I was not in the possession of that (it was posted to me later on). I...
