I am really tired of waiting for my GC, please see my signature below. I am thining if I can file an EB2 labor and port the priority dates. Where can I find the requirements / documentations that I need to port from EB3 to EB2 so that I can see if my title "Architect" (IT) and job...
You should pay the Fee of $340 for EAD and $305 for AP. This is how it works. If you paid around $375 for your I485, then you need to pay the above amount everytime you renew the EAD/AP. If you pay around $985 for your 485, then no EAD fee is required.
It depends on your luck....
It depends upon the IO. But for AP it is the Date when they approve and not the current one expires. But for EAD you have a 50% of change to get the new card on the date of Current card expiration. My spouse EAD has the same date of approval and I have a date when...
Oh yeah.... On my Approved AP I believe its on 2005... I have Case Received and Pending... I stopped bothering Because I had LUD on almost all the AP/EAD I applied previously including I-140....

I too got the call from the TSC asking for my I-140 Receipt number and said they were researching on my case. I too wrote to Ombudsman long back that i did not got any reply yet. This happend to me in the month of November. But no feedback/reply mails yet. You can keep your fingers crossed...
I will not return my GC unless i get something in the paper. Talk to your Lawer and ask him to send some kind of proof or any letters from USCIS saying to return the GC. GC is not something that could be surrendered with just a anonymous phone call. You know how hard and the procedures behind...
1. You cannot reenter US based on a valid I-94, you need get your H1B visa stamped. It is recomended to get stamped from the country of your origin.
2. It will not impact your GC process as long as you status is leagal.
I too had LUD on the following:
I-140 - 11/17/2007 - Approved on April 28, 2004
I-131 - 11/25/2007 - Approved on September 28, 2004 - Myself and spouse
Think Twice
My advice would be think twice before going to india. Because your AP is expring in Jan 2008 and the only chance for your return is H1B stamp. I am not discouraging you but just think abou the situation what if the office in the consulate does not stamp? We can argue on this but...
