I'm new here and not sure of how this works. My question is, I am sponsoring my wife from the Dominican and did not meet the financial requirements for sponsorship because of dependants I have claimed. I am using a friend of the family as a joint sponsor but they are having issues now of how the information is guarded. I have submitted their tax transcripts and a copy of California Drivers license but that seems to be their litmit. My question is, how I can use the license alone as proof of residency. We have already had our appointment date and was told only the transcripts for 2010 and proof of residency are needed.
