    On the I-90 form, Part 2 is say's to only check one, but what if your card is expiring and you want to do a name change? I guess you could mark either one, and put name as you want new card to appear? and send in supporting documentation. It would just be changing from maiden name to married...

    no, they don't stamp, never have, going both ways. interesting side note is that when we returned to the U.S. last time, the border guard said that she does not even need to show them her passport, just the green card, the Canadian side thought wants to see a passport. we filed the address...
