Visa type for USMLE step2 CS or CSA

Hi All, Can someone please let me know the type of visa needed for attempting a step2 cs exam in USA. I am from India and have applied for the step2 cs at a prometric center in US. Also if possible include some details on the visa formalities, common questions asked at the consulate etc...
