    Applying N400 while outside USA? Need Info.

    My wife is currently eligible for citizenship but she is in India as her father is sick and will stay for another 4-5 months, can she apply N400 application? is it allowed? if yes, what is the procedure? Also, can she apply in US consulate in India?
