    I-485 mailed on 8/31/2001 My lawyer mailed my I-485,I-131,I-765 on August 31, 2001. It was a long week-end. So, INS wouldn\'t receive it before 09/04/01.

    Tx Thanks UE. I already have a valid H-1B visa on my passport. I am also filing for my I-485. Can I travel outside US and re-enter without any problem if I go out and re-enter before I receive I-485 filing receipt from INS ?
