The notion that weight loss can be accomplished by eating less and exercising more certainly applies to a junk food consuming couch potato. That idea starts to lose value as you eat better and exercise more – which generally means you will need to eat more to sustain your energy. This does not mean you should use exercise as an excuse to overeat.
