Misplaced I-797 - Duplicate Notice of action
Darn it! Thanks triple citizen. It feels atleast a little better that it will take approx 6 months to get duplicate copy.I've read at other places that it could take upto 1 year--now that will drive me absolutely crazy..........having not seen family for the past 2 1/2 years...i guess i have to...- alfredo123

Misplaced I-797 - Duplicate Notice of action
Same situation I am in exactly the same boat...damn DHL guy misplaced the document. I know we need I-824 to file for duplicate but I have read in places that it can take upto 2 years to get that done...I simply cannot wait for 2 years to get the I-797 and go to india.... But I am not sure...- alfredo123
