    If lc denied after 7th yr h1 extn approval

    What happens if the lc gets denied permanently in DOL after h1 7th year extension has been approved? Does the person have to leave within a certain period of time? Or h1 extension is valid inspite of the LC denial. :confused:

    6 yrs on h1

    My h1 was approved in march'97, however I came to US later in june'97. My lawyer applied for h1 extension until june 2003 since 6 yrs in h status are counted based on when one enters US. My h1 extension is still pending which was filed in nov last year and my i-94 is already expired in march...
