    What if laid off during 485

    Hi, Guys, I am in 485 waiting stage. What if I got laid off while I still hold my H-1B visa. Do I need to change to EAD? I have been waiting for more than 6 months. So according to new law, I should be safe. My question is: do I need to change my status? Thanks.
