Hi Brenda, sorry the dumb question. They stamped your country passport? Aren’t you supposed to get a USA passport after you get the green card?

Go get from the court by yourself, that’s what I did. Call ahead and ask if they have it. I got my yesterday. I got granted the same day and court

It is possible that in the new fiscal year that begins in October they will begin to grant those of 2022, but it is not at all certain that you will see it this year.

It's my country's passport. When the judge granted your case and sends you the granted letter,
you can request an InfoPass. At that appointment, they can stamp your passport so you can travel while you wait for your green card. The stamp is a temporary “residence card” that lasts for one year. The stamp is called an I551, and you can find more information. They also stamp it when you lose or want to renew your green card.

During the infopass did they aproved and processed your I 485? If yes than GC should be coming in like less than 2 weeks.
No, one’s you get your letter your a us resident, after you becoming a citizen is when you could apply for us passport

The officer who helped us didn't say anything about my I485. She just said I have to wait for everything to be updated and for my green card to arrive. I even asked her how long that would take? and she said it could be "a few months." That's why I give you a stamp that's valid for a year. With this, you can travel wherever you want while you wait.
And there's no update on my I485.
I don't want to ask to my lawyer. I'm angry because they lost my granted letter, which I granted two years ago.

I got couple friends that after infopass. They got there GC 1 to week in the half. Even that they said 6 months.

You mean call court and ask them? I called last week and spoke with phone receptionist, she said my lawyer will receive it and she can’t say it’s mailed or not. Do I have to speak with specific person at court or just walk in to court for letter?

Yes, call the court. That’s what I did and they said they had it. My lawyer never got it because she moved her offices and never changed the address for my application. You can go to room 440 and ask if you can get a copy if they mail it already but your lawyer should have it by now

My I-485 form was sent on July 16, 2013. I remember going to the fingerprints, but nothing appeared in the system. They haven't updated it, only the day they received my form. July 16, 2013
