Visa issue vs Case Number

As far as I know, it is the highest number in following region:

2013EU00029XXX
2013AS000102XX
2013SA000007XX
2013OC00001XXX
2013AF00105XXX

Total around 150,000 and total 50,000 visas issues, so around first 1/3 out of total case number can go to USA

For example, Asia, if all selectees can go to USA, then cut off should be 3400, but actually someone may not want to go USA, forget confirmation number, not finish secondary education, crime and so on, the number may be higher than that
 
The highest number for AF is not 105628, Obeezyb is just playing around. I think he should use his real number because he's confusing people.

You mean 105628 is not his case number? The second high I saw seems AF7xxxx
 
No it is not.His CN is around 70XXX.The highest i have seen for AF is 75XXX.
By the way,to be fair at least one african,oceanic,south and north american are missing ,since allegedly we have 22 of october new winners from Asia and Europe.

The highest EU CN i've seen is over 30k. On a Russian forum. Don't worry guys everyone will get a chance and everyone will be interviewed. It has been moving a bit slow this year but I believe we'll see huge jumps in case number processing in the upcoming months. I've been analyzing how the processing went in the previous years, and I've seen jumps of 8k case numbers a month even. For instance check the April 2012 Visa Bulletin for Europe. From 32k to 40k.

My concern is Asia region because I'm come from Asia, and DV-2013 pattern not same as DV-2012, DV-2013 max case number around 10,000 but DV-2012 is 60,000.

Do you know the situation of DV-2006? Because DV-2006 August still 7,xxx, I'm not sure what is the max case number at DV-2006, if it is over 20,000, how come KCC can arrange interview with 7,xxx - 20,000 in September only?

Point of correction:I'm not out to confuse anyone,just to make this DV journey bearable & interesting coz its going to be along wait for us with high CNs,probably 10 months.& thus we might us well kick in some humor to relieve us all.

I have no problem with humor, but because there is so much interest in the highest CN number for each region, I think it is best that you express your humor some way other than deliberately listing a fake CN number.

I know my own CN and dates without listing them here, so the only reason I put the info in my sig is to help others. Putting fake CN (or fake dates) might be funny, but it surely doesn't help others.

I don't think you intend to confuse people, but unless somebody follows this forum closely and bothers to read the long Kenya thread, he's going to be confused because he doesn't read that one post where you said it's not your real CN. This thread is proof that the confusion just happened.

It is your signature, so you have the right to put anything in there (even fake CN). I am just stating my opinion.

This number,105,628 has been selected deliberately since its the total no of selectees for DV2013.Due to privacy issues & the website's disclaimer about posting PII,we do censor the last 2-3 numerals of our CNs so as not to be identifiable.With this regard,if 105,628 was my real CN,it would read 105*** but given it isnt my CN,I could as well post the whole number & not bother about it revealing any info about m since it leads nowhere.

He could have PM'd me since many have & I've clarified the issue with them.Given his particular interest,he should follow the forum more closely & look for other forums in order to be better informed.

Note:everything that's posted on this forum & anywhere else should be taken with a pinch of salt since we may very well be dealing with alter egos given the handles we've named ourselves after.

No way! Asia didn't have any case numbers over 20,000 that year. As you can see August is 7k and September is current. Which means the highest case number that year probably didn't exceed 8,000. Current means every single Asian who has submitted the forms to KCC got interviewed. ;-)

I still have concern, DV-2006 cut off number is growth steady, but if growth is steady in DV-2013, 100% sure many selectees cannot interview, even growth 450 per months, September 2013 cut off number will only 6750. If it need to every can interview, it should growth average 850 per month, almost 200% compare with November 2012 and December 2012 bulletin, but it is not the pattern in DV-2006.

So I want to say, DV-2013 Asia cut off number is weird and I suspect the behaviour not same as previous, such as may be not everyone can get visa or even interview

One thing u cannot be sure about(unless u r a KCC insider) is the number of gaps within those CNs such as to warrant your conclusions.

If it need to every can interview, it should growth average 850 per month, almost 200% compare with November 2012 and December 2012 bulletin, but it is not the pattern in DV-2006.

There will be jumps. The processing speed is not constant! I've only considered Europe so far since I am a EU selected entrant. But look at these statistics:

-------- DV 09 - DV 10
December 12,900 12,400
January 15,400 19,750
February 17,100 22,400

See the huge jump, and difference between DV 09 and 10? They processed over 7k Europeans December-January in 2010, while only 3k in the same period of time in 2009.

--------- DV 11 - DV 12
January 15,400 16,500
February 17,600 22,000

Yet another case. See the huge jump? They processed over 6k cases January to February of 2012, while only 2k for the same period in 2011.

Just calm down and have patience. Wait for the upcoming months' visa bulletins... you will see the same thing. For any continent.
