Hey all,
Just got my Green Card today, and I am super thrilled. I didn't expect it to work out, and since my student visa was about to expire, I had booked a flight home to Germany already for early July. Also, I have an interview for an internship there. I was wondering if I should file for a I-131, even though I am planning on returning within 6 months, and this is sort of a vacation/seing family/ getting some job experience in my field-trip. I'm not moving back permanently to Germany.
But since I got the green card, and don't want to lose it, I want to play it safe. Oh, my friend is moving into the apartment that I lived in when I applied, so she will forward my mail to me. But of course, it's no longer my physical address during that time. Opinions? Greatly appreciated.
