Hello
I would like to know if it is true that if you have been staying in the U.S. under a valid working status/visa and in the meantime had applied for Green Card via Labor Cert, ...that after you get your green card, and at the time when you want to apply for U.S. citizenship, they will count and include all the years that you had been staying in the U.S. including the years prior to the green card, i.e. the years that you had been working and living in the U.S. under TN visa or such. Is this true? If this is true it means we do not need to start counting the years after getting the green card, instead, we can start counting since the start of our legal stay in the U.S. and include all the years in order to obtain citizenship ASAP. Is this true? Your responses would be highly appreciated. Thank you.
