This is my situation. I am an undergraduate student with F-1 visa till 2011. During this spring semester I dropped a class on April 4, which led to my number of credit hours to drop below 12. I got a call from the international student services on Monday, April 7 that went out of status. I just came to know that I can undo the dropping of the class by the approval of my advisor. Thus, my credit hours would go to 12 again. In this scenario should I still apply for reinstatement as have been out of status just for a week.
