Would a lie in my electronical form affect my case?

I won DV 2009. At the time i have submited my electronical form for DV 2009 i was living illegally in Spain.At the question "Where do u live today?" I have responded "Ukraine" (the country where i am from and where i was living all my life before going to Spain).
As i lived in Spain 4 years, i have to mention it in the application form.
How important is the answer to this question and can this affect my case?
