Will I be able to leave India

Hi Experts,

Following are our details:

Previous H1 stamp expired : May 1st 2003
New H1 Approved up to sep 2006
Never been out of status
Came to India in July
Appointment for H1 revalidation at Delhi on 3rd September(along with my wife)

I have all required documents

My last H1 was from Mumbai. Is it ok if I go for revalidation at Delhi?

What is the procedure at Delhi consulate?
How much time they are taking to send the passports back with Visa?
I have heard they are sending names and FPs for checking and that may take long time...Is it true?
