when can you add spouce to 485

I am about to file 485 but not married and will not until dec\'01.
but i do not want to delay starting my adjustment as job market fluctuates.
please suggest me how to proceed.when can I add her name so she can get approved,if not with me but eventually later.
I plan to be on H1 until I get married.
is there any problems in getting visa for her.
please advise the steps necessary.

To my knowledge u can add ur spouse any time before u get your I485 approval. But make sure that u maintain H1 status and get ur wife on H4. Don\'t use EAD which will invalidate ur H status though u can have EAD for safe side.
