What time is good to arrive at San Jose INS for Passport Stamping ?

Anyone been there recently ?? What time do we need to get there to increase our chance of getting in ??

Also ,are we allowed to carry some water or sandwiches ? I believe it is a long wait there.

Also, are the photos required for PP the same type as used for filing I-485 application ?? The approval notice mentions ADIT type photo .

Any pointers will be appreciated !

So it\'s official, huh? :) I think 4:30am should be early
enough to get in. You can have sandwitches and drink, but
finish them before you get into the building. No food or
drink are allowed inside.

Photos are the same as those you submitted in I-485 package.

I got my notice today...I did post it in another thread.

I plan to get my Passport stamped on Monday. My mother would like to see everything done before she leaves for India next Sunday.

I did not see your other post about receiving an approval
notice. Good for you that the approval is final.

Monday is the worst day of the week. You probably want
to line up a little earlier than 4:30 so that you can get
out of there before noon.

Could you write up a post after stamping the passport? We
need constant update on San Jose office. Many CSC folks
seem to live in this area. Thanks a lot in advance.
