Came here on Visitor's Visa. Mother (Citizen) made I-130 application. Got petition approval, but it says I have to apply for immigrant Visa then apply for I-485. Anybody familiar with this? Lawyer said, there is nothing to be done, just wait four years. This seems crazy for me to be here unable to do anything, just sit twiddling my thumbs for all that time. Any help
