I was in Bombay for revalidation. First, I was denied the stamping, reason - 221(g). Then I was asked for personal appearance. I was charged the issuance fees of $50, but was asked to wait (for 30 days) for the approval from washington. The approval of "Clearance Cable". Do you know whats a clearance cable or cable clearance?
Anyways so I went to check for the same after a month. There was no approval sent from Washington. I've been checking after every couple of weeks. But its always the same answer. Its been almost 3 months now. Do any of you guys know what number can I call at washington, to find out the same or where can I get the washington fax number for this matter.
