What Docs to query for Interim EAD

Please share your experience with interim EAD at newark, NJ

1) Is it possible/advised to go to Cherry Hill instead??
2) What docs to carry
3) Do we need photos??
4) Does my wife needs to go too???

whats ur RD for EAD? My wife's EAD RD: Oct/23/03 and nothing yet.

I don't know. We went to Newark

2) What docs to carry

I -485 Copy and I-765 Rcpt Notice. Also Fill up one I-765 form and carry with you.

3) Do we need photos??

Picutres will be taken at Newark before issuing EAD.

4) Does my wife needs to go too???

The person whose EAD is being issued must be there. ie Your wife must present if EAD is for your wife, as they take picture and FP. Be prepare to spend the whole day. We went there around 9 am and it took us 4pm to get the EAD.

If you do plan to go to Newark office, make sure you are there early if you want same day service. I would suggest reaching there by 6.30am or so. Rest of your questions are already answered by other posters.
