Does anyone have experience getting a US Visa at Toronto US Consulate. I need to apply for a US VIsa under the new US Law. What do i need to take with me. Document wise. Is it safe to go and apply their. I neverhad H1-B visa stamp to my passport. Anyone please help..................

When you make an appointment, you will be advised as to what documents you need to carry for visa stamping.

Visa Application
DS-158 (for male applicants over 18years of age)
I-797
I-129 paket submitted to INS for your H-1B approval
Employment verification letter, clearly describing your job functions, job title and salary
Pay stubs
your passport
PP size photograp/s
Pay $100 at Scotia bank. The payment vouchers can be downloaded from the US Consulate web site

Even with the above documents, there is no gaurantee that one will be granted a visa the next day.
