Congrats COLOHIO...

Enjoy your freedom, good luck.

Is there any response to your enquiry letter form INS. Is it going to be any helpfull to send such letters? The reason for I am asking this was my Wife's case was with INS for almost for two years, she got 2nd RFE on Feb 21st and she took 2nd Figer prints on April 14.Can you please reply to this.

Thanks

Hello Ven,
Thanks for your congratulations.

I believe my first inquiry letter delivered to BCIS on April 28 might have triggered officer to pull my file from the stack.

I sent the reply to the RFE on February 4, 2003. My case was not looked into at the usual time (3-6 weeks after RFE response) due to special registration and it was set aside. Special registration period was ended on April 25. I was registered on April 10.

Hope sending inqiry letters will help some other old timers .

Good Luck with your wife's petition!!!

Thanks COLOHIO

Thanks for your reply, I will send enquiry letter after waiting 3 more weeks in my wife's case.

Congratulations COLOHIO! No hard feelings about our recent exchanges right? :)

Wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

It might help to send a self-addressed envelop with your letter of inquiry if you're looking for a reply. The instructions on Form G731 (used to inquire about the status of the plastic card) asks you to attach a self-addressed envelop, and I am extending that logic for pre-approval inquires too.

Thanks GCfasttrack!
Sorry for my other postings. I already wiped them out (with whitener!).
I should not post my first response if I knew you as much as I know you now. It may be our usual desi habit to quarrel each other!
Good luck to your friend. Hope things work out ok for them.
