walk in or info pass?

Long story short, my husband and I had our interview this morning - March 1st.

Everything went very smoothly, but there was only document missing.

The officer stamped a huge red "APPROVED" in one of our application that I didn't get to see each one was it, but told us that our case will be pending until we bring this missing document.

He printed out an instruction sheet where he high lighted the dead line and the instruction to mail it to the uscis. He also said that whenever I get the document I can try to walk in and have the security guard let me in to drop it off, even though if I don't have an appointment, but he couldn't gararantee my access to the building.

So, I will probably have the missing document by Monday. What should I do?

1- Try to walk in to the uscis building and explain the situation?

2- Set up an info pass? How does the info pass work? If I go online and set up an info pass, can I choose the date I want to go? Does it give me a random date: 1 week away, 1 month away?

Your thoughts, please... Thank you!
