Waiting for Oath Letter. Can my spouse get medical examination done now?

I'm waiting to get my letter for going for my citizenship oath. Hopefully (keeping fingers crossed) this should happen within this month. We plan to get married as soon as the oath is held.

I have prepared papers for filing her GC soon after the marriage certificate is received.

The only other document pending for filing her GC is sealed envelope containing medical examination record. Can she get her medical examination done now and get the sealed envelope or do we wait for the oath to happen and then get it.

Is the sealed envelope containing medical examination valid for a certain period.

Thanks

It's valid for 1 year as far as I know.

I would wait with the med exam until she takes the oath. But that's just me.

I say go ahead with it once you get the oath letter, don't wait for the oath itself. It can take weeks to get an appointment, plus a few more weeks to get any follow-up vaccinations and the signed-off I-693.
