My son is in U.S., working on H1B Approval Notice which was transferred from his previous I-20. Unfortunately his Passport was stolen and now he received new Passport from Indian Consulate. Please advise if its necessary to get new VISA stamped from India, considering all the difficulties involved in travelling to India and getting the process completed.
