I really need some urgent advise/share experience on the following scenario
1) Came to US on B1B2 in 1998, 1st H1 received in Nov 98,
2) Labor approved from employer A in May 2002- I-140 approved in June 06
3) Labor approved under PERM from emp B - I-140 filed
4) I am in the 9th yr of extension, after I140 approved got H1Ext for 3 yrs now I-94 valid until 7/31/2010.
5) Never been outside US since 1998 except to Canada
Now I have to go to Hong Kong for Company's work, company has a head office in HKG. Need to go to Consulate for stamping H1B. Do not have time to go to India, the schedule & time frame is really tight. HKG does not need appointments for H1s & stamp visas mostly same day or next day.
How likely/unlikely is it getting H1B stamped in HKG? Has anyone gone thourgh similar situation? Any gurus have any suggestions or foresee any problems? Please advise urgently.
