Validity of Medicals

What is the latest take on the validity of medicals submitted along with 485 application

Is it also valid only for 15 months (like FP)?
If it get expired, what happens to our 485 cases?

Guys, I did my medicals in May 2003 but my lawyer filed 485 in Aug 2004 using same medicals. Now are my medicals are still valid or I should send new medicals before getting rfe.
my 140 was applied in May 2003 and approved in Sep 2004. So my 485 is semi concurrent.

I'd be incredibly surprised if USCIS didn't kick back an RFE, but there's no point getting the medicals done unless they ask.
