Using EAD..what would be my visa status

Hi All:
After the expiry of my H1-B a few years ago, I'm currently using my EAD. I'm applying to part time school and need to fill out my "visa" status in my application. Any idea what would be my visa status since I'm using EAD. Would it be H1-B, EAD, or something else. I filed my I-485 in Nov 2001, and have been on my EAD for the past 3 years.

AOS pending... And if you ever re-entered using AP, you are a parolee. You dont have any visa status. but gosh my heart goes out for you, you've been one heck of a patient guy. They should give you an honorary citizenship for showing extraordinary loyalty to this country :) Hope your GC gets approved soon. Good luck.

Cool! I guess I have to use Parolee!! Don't get me started on my ancient case. Hopefully it will get approved soon.... Thanks much!
 
Schools typically have an international student office. I'd just call them first before entering anything in the application form. Explain your case and they would know what exactly to put in your case.
