Use both H1 and 485-EAD

Hi Rajiv,

This is Ravi S. Have a question on H1 and 485-EAD.

Question: Is it possible to use H1B (For primary job) and 485-EAD (for secondary job like side business) at the same time? If not, then using 485-EAD, how can I maintain the H1B status?

Hi

As per USCIS, EAD is not a status (like H1, F1, etc). In this case, can I follow the H1B guidelines (like mentioned location in petition, etc) to work on H1B sponsored work during weekdays and work on EAD on weekend jobs right?

Please let me know on the same.
