US Passport / Cert of Naturalization

Hello.....

I am planning to file a petition for K1 visa. I have a few questions.

1. I lost my original Certificate of Naturalization. Forunately, I have found a copy of the certificate but it shows only front, no back of it. Will that satisfy USCIS?

2. I will file a replacement form. How long will it take them to process and issue new certificate?

3. I am reading the 1-129F instruction. It said, ""In place of any of the above, you may give USCIS a copy of your valid, unexpired U.S. passport issued with a validity period of at least five years. You must submit copies of all pages in the passport."

I am not sure I understand the time. My passport date of issue was October 8, 1998 so my passport will expire on October 2008. Am I qualifying to meet the "validity period of at least five years"?

Thanks
