US GC and "landing" in Canada

I have US GC for a year now and my Canada PR process completed and Canada imm visa in pasport stamped (expires in a month).

Please advise on process to "land" in Canada and safely return to US on GC.
Special interest for hassle-free return and preserving GC if the US officer notices Canadian PR visa.

Plan to land via 1-3 day trip on rental car (seatle-vancouver)

I am also seeking help for Canadian landing. It is said that landed immigrants of Canada need provide valid visa. But in my point of view, it has some conflicts with "30 days auto revalidation".

Please help. Thanks a lot.
